Christian Louboutin

So, I have just featured Christian Louboutin's "Spacer" and previously featured the Birthday edition black Python "Louis" [and lust everyday with the "Alfred"'s in my closet] but, what do you know about the man behind the soles? Ecouter et apprendre! ...or listen and learn for those of us who don't speak French.

French he is, Christian Louboutin was born in France in 1964 and spent his childhood marveling at the elegance of Parisian women from all walks of life. He loves the idea behind Parisian women and their, suprisingly, unfaithfullness to a specific designer or brand. He has been quoted as saying that Parisian women are "completely unfaithful - to everyone but themselves".

Louboutin revived the high heel in the early nineties and has since gained worldwide popularity with stores on nearly every continent, the first one opening in 1990 in Paris. You would imagine he would have went into frantic work mode creating all these lustworthy shoes for the opening but instead, his first task was the box. Yes, he first created the box before the shoes. He compares the importance of the shoe box to that of the jewelry box. After all, how iconic is the little blue boxes from Tiffany's? You just know there is going to be something good inside.

After the box, came the shoes. However, the shoes didn't always have the signature red sole. Here, Louboutin describes how the red soles came about [taken from the Hub Magazine]:

"I felt that the shoes lacked energy. The colour was meant to add definition to the heel and to the shape of the shoe. When you have black shoes, for instance, adding a touch of colour can finish the design or even re-shape it completely. At first I considered using several colours, but that would mean not having a trademark. During the early 90s many women in France didn't like colours at all, but then I noticed that they still wore red. On their nails, on their lips: a woman may say she doesn't wear colour but she will still wear red - the colour of love, passion, and blood. It made sense. So I applied red nail polish to the sole of a shoe and within no time it was such a success that it became a permanent fixture."

Louboutin believes in freedom of fashion. He does not believe there are rules to wearing his shoes and says that "if a woman wants to wear 5-inch crystal heels to go to the market or even the beach, then why not? As long as she feels great, she shows that she has made an effort to do it her way. That, to me, is perfect just the way it is."

If you're Jennifer Lopez or any of the Kardashian sisters, this is probably what you do in your Louboutin's. And you also wear them on red carpets, along with almost every other fashionable woman in Hollywood. We have yet to see any press for the men's shoes but, look forward to it!

I was visiting the New York store on Madison Ave. with a fellow luster while a group of news people outside waited to interview people leaving the store. The doorman warned us and was right, as soon as we stepped out we were being asked "Why?". "Why the red soles? Why do you buy them? Who do you buy them for?". The news anchor went on and on trying to convince my friend to say that she wears the red soles to ignite the passions in men and attract them to her bedroom [as if Louboutin's were "Spanish Fly"]. When she asked me if that was my reaction, I simply said "I'm gay, so it doesn't matter what color your soles are, it's not gonna work". Joking aside, there is a very emotional reaction to Christian Louboutin's shoes. Perhaps ambition, to be able to throw around thousand dollar shoes represents a certain status most of us want to achieve, or perhaps pure love for an exquisite design.

It isn't just the consumer that have such a strong emotion for these shoes, it is apparent that emotion rules the designs in the world of Christian Louboutin. Which is probably why we are head over heels for them.

Christian Louboutin Spacer Flat

If the Lust List had a soul, it would be red. Much like our friend Christian Louboutin's soles. In pure lust with the "Spacer Flat". I've made it a personal journey to seek out a men's gladiator sandal [like our previously featured Burberry Gladiator's], and it appears I have found the sneaker version.

Beige suede for the Spring Summer 2011 Collection. "Tie them on and buckle in. 3, 2, 1...take off! Their arrival has been much anticipated since they walked the runway. Wait no more, Spacer has just touched down." $1,195.

Belstaff Roadmaster Jacket

Trust me when I tell you, this Belstaff jacket is THE jacket for all you stylish lusters this Fall. GQ raved about it in Fall previews and featured it in it's publications. You may have already seen it, if you were paying close attention to the soldiers in "Captain America : The First Avenger".

Black waxed cotton Belstaff Roadmaster jacket with a zip and press stud fastenings, four front patch pockets, corduroy collar and cuffs, buckled collar and belt, plaid cotton lining and finished with a Belstaff emblem. Worn with casual favourites, this iconic piece is a weekend essential. Availabe at our favorite site to lust with, Mr. Porter. $695.

Founded in England in 1924, Belstaff is famed for high-performance jackets, worn by motorcyclists and pilots. The brand’s Italian owners have forged connections with Hollywood, and keep the label’s heritage alive with sleek collections that are strong on stylish outerwear and rugged boots.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Latin Tees

Nothing says LA to me like hanging out at the local Marc Jacobs stores on Melrose, or the "Marc Corner" as it's affectionately known given that there are five seperate stores. You walk around, survey the goods, and listen to stories of "cracked out roommates" from fellow shoppers and employees. I've visited the stores in the West Village of New York but, something about the LA ones just feel like home.

My favorite latin phrases from Marc Jacobs first entered my life on bracelets that I had to wear and distribute to all of my friends. Then they showed up on silver rings. Now, they have made their apparel debut on cotton tees. My favorite of the phrases? It's a toss up between "Internos" [between us] and "Serva Me, Servabote" [save me and I will save you].

Pictured is "Da Tumamore, Ad Defendendum" [given in love, for protection]. Available only at Marc by Marc Jacobs stores. $35.

Gucci Bamboo Bracelet

In lust with this Gucci Bamboo Bracelet. It's very rare to find a luxury bracelet designed for men. This sterling silver bad boy takes the cake this month at the Lust List. $495.

Why bamboo? Well, there is a bit of history behind bamboo and Gucci that has been brought to our attention in recent designs. Everyone loves a sexy mind. Read up on the history, taken from Gucci's website, below.

"The bamboo-handled bag was developed in a Gucci backroom in Florence in 1947 by craftsmen who were charged to muster all their powers of innovation to think their way around war-time shortages – yet still make objects that met the Gucci standards of desirable exclusivity. Shoots of Bamboo which could still be imported from Japan, were softened by a flame and curved into a distinctive ‘u’ shape. Once it was articulated and attached to the bag by four metal loops [using the least amount of the precious commodity possible, in the on-site forge], the bamboo handle instantly became a piece of design history.

Over the decades, the bamboo went beyond its origins as a pragmatic solution and became a device used on generations of new bag shapes, gradually transforming itself into a Gucci visual code. Bamboo-inspired patterning has featured on a variety of products – from umbrella handles to headscarves, watchstraps and jewellery, and has even been carved cleverly into a pair of golden stiletto heels. Frida Giannini has even reinvented the iconic original handbag with her own ultra modern version, 'The New Bamboo'.

Along with the horsebit, the green-red-green web stripe, the diamante and flora patterns and the GG – the bamboo is a Gucci icon and part of the House’s incredible heritage that proves savvy design will never be out of style."

Pure Lust : Chris Evans

I'll be the first to admit I had an alterior motive for seeing "Captain America : The First Avenger", and that motive was Pure Lust Chris Evans. Captain America or Captain Lust?

Evans was born and raised in Boston, Massachussets. This Italian Irish actor is son to an artistic director and dentist, with two sisters and an openly gay brother [Evans has voiced his support of his brother and the gay community, right on!].

You may recognize him from his whip cream clad role in "Not Another Teen Movie". Or if you're already into the comic scene, his roles in "Fantastic Four" and "Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer" in which he played the Human Torch [was smokin' hot on his resume?]. Or if you're into the fashion scene, you may have seen him alongside Evan Rachel Wood for Gucci's perfume "Guilty" and as the face of "Guilty pour Homme". Chances are, you've seen him.

Set your eyes to lust as you'll see him up next flexing his superhero muscles for "The Avengers" and sequels to "Captain America", and in the romantic comedy "What's Your Number?" with Anna Faris. I can't wait to be romanced by Evans.

Cody Callahan + DNA Magazine

The Lust List was very excited to learn about Model Lust Cody Callahan's latest work for Australia's DNA Magazine. Callahan has been featured in issue #137 in the pictorial "All of Me". Lust over these pics and make sure to keep an eye out for the issue on newsstands! [Special thanks to All Hot Men for keeping Lust List in the Callahan loop]

Louis Vuitton Damier Inifini Collection

Get ready for a new twist on Louis Vuitton's signature "Damier" print. The "Damier [French for "checkerboard"] Infini" collection hits Vuitton stores mid-August. Seen on the Men's AW12 runways, this update is embossed calfskin leather in red, black, and white, and available in key pieces like the Keepall [a luggage staple in my opinion], Porte-Documents Voyage, and Zippy Wallet. I can't decide if I'm in lust with red or white. What do you think?

Tom Ford Federico Sunglasses

Another summer shade to wrap around your pretty face poolside. The Tom Ford "Federico" sunglasses spotted at Saks Fifth Avenue at South Coast Plaza. Acetate retro wayfarer inspired frames with lavish metal T detail at temple [a Tom Ford signature]. Available in grey gradient/transparent grey with grey gradient lens. Also available in beige gradient/transparent light brown with rose gradient lens . Made in Italy. $340.

I'm a big fan of the gradient lens right now, as seen on my sought after Balenciaga's. I've already cracked the frame on those [and repaired them] but, "Federico" might become a standby lover this summer.

LowLuv by Erin Wasson Triple Crystal Ring

I was surveying the goods with a fellow luster at American Rag Cie in Newport Beach when I stumbled across this beauty. LowLuv by Erin Wasson Triple Crystal Ring is a silver set ring featuring three 14K gold crystal rods. $75.

Another lustable aspect of this jewelry line is other designs featuring the Egyptian "Evil Eye". Check out Amercian Rag Cie's website for more LowLuv, linked above, and you can also find Vivienne Westwood accessories! And learn a little more about Erin Wasson below.

Erin Wasson is a model turned jeweler. You may have seen her on the covers of Vogue, Flair, Numero, Allure, Esquire, and Elle. She has worked with renown designers and photograpers, and most recently appeared alongside Justin Timberlake in short films promoting William Rast. Known for her low-key sense of style, she didn't stop at jewelry and did a collaboration with RVCA in the Spring of '09.

Andrés Velencoso + La Vanguardia Magazine

The heat was on to find a lustworthy topic for my 100th post on the Lust List and who better than my first Model Lust AndrĂ©s Velencoso. Luckily AndrĂ©s loves his fans, which led me to find his latest project via Twitter [follow @andresvelencoso].

AndrĂ©s appears in the latest issue of La Vanguardia Magazine. I've linked it for your lusting pleasure but, be prepared to think back to all those Spanish lessons in high school if you want to read the article. Or simply lust with your eyes and check out a rough translation of the article below.

AndrĂ©s is quoted as "a man of peace, who feels more comfortable with the camera than with the microphone". As you may or may not know, he is the lustable boy toy of Kylie Minogue. The article references that their relationship is not out of personal and professional advantage. That he is a man who respects others, and it would appear, respects love.

Born in Tossa de Mar, he was discovered in fashion at the height of "pre-anorexic sickly" models like those of Heidi Slimane for Dior Homme. Success for someone like AndrĂ©s who represented strong but natural muscle and a certain "masculinity both in face and body" seemed hopeless. Luckily for us, our friend Marc Jacobs disagreed and plastered this face of masculinity alongside Jennifer Lopez for Louis Vuitton all over New York. Vuitton led to Chanel, which led to Loewe, and so on.

AndrĂ©s is managing success at the age of 33, which is rare for most male models. He keeps intact the fundamentals of his life and remains "friendly and polite, never says a word higher than another, and sits well with everyone". It seems this Model Lust hasn't lost sight of his roots in Barcelona, visiting his sisters and father whenever he has a chance. Sometimes even working in his father's restaurant [if only AndrĂ©s was on the menu]. He feels very close to his family, especially after the passing of his mother in 2002 who encouraged him to pursue modeling rather than teach Physical Education. Her name, Lucia, appears on his chest in remembrance.

You can check out this blog devoted totally to his career here, and don't forget to lust with AndrĂ©s and the Lust List [@LustListTweets] on Twitter.

Marlon Teixeira for EY! Magazine

Good luck getting your hands on the current summer issue of EY! Magazine. It seems everywhere online is sold out! And the publication is limited to only a thousand copies. But, if you're lucky enough to be in the LA area you can check Marc Jacobs' BookMarc on Melrose where I saw a shiny copy sitting in a display case last week.

The issue features nineteen year old Brazilian male model Marlon Teixeira on the cover and inside in various states of undress. Marlon is featured with other Brazilian male models in a celebration of the hottest country on the planet. Lust with your senses below.

Lust Icon : Madonna

Yes. The answer is yes. I'm extremely intimidated with the idea of tackling Madonna as a Lust Icon. How could I convey to the world how iconic and amazing Madonna is? What photos would I even use? Should I pick someone else this go-around? Someone easier, like say, Lady Gaga?

I sometimes strangely loathe the fact that I even like Madonna [oh-kay LOVE Madonna]. It all just sounds so cliché for a gay man to love Madonna. But, I don't love Madonna the way we all at some point love her. Without sounding like a fanatic, I worship Madonna. Now I know that sounds extreme but, I'm not a crazy person. Madonna is an icon of music, film, fashion, art, and lifestyle. I don't need millions of record sales and awards to prove that. Who she is and what she does in the way that she does it, to me, seals the deal. How does she do that? With absolutely no regrets.

Madonna Louise Ciccone is a child of Italian decent from Bay City, Michigan. Of her youth, she recalls herself as a "lonely girl who was searching for something. I wasn't rebellious in a certain way. I cared about being good at something. I didn't shave my underarms and I didn't wear make-up like normal girls do. But I studied and I got good grades.... I wanted to be somebody." It was that ambition that drove her to drop out of college and pursue a dance career in New York City. She moved to New York in 1977 with only $35 in her pocket and describes the decision as "the bravest thing I'd ever done."

Dolce & Gabbana + Mr. Porter

If the Lust List had a sugar daddy, his name would be Mr. Porter. I'm always surveying the lusty 'New Arrivals' and got plenty of kicks last week when they launched Dolce & Gabbana.

Luxury apparel for men online is not easy to come by but, the selection on Mr. Porter makes finding those sought after runway looks, effortless. And besides the incredible underwear model [trust me, you'll want to see him], my favorite features on the site are everything but the clothes. I love reading through 'the Journal' which features all kinds of style icons, brand bio's, editor picks, and ways to wear it.

These images are from this week's 'Journal', which features three Italian film stars outfitted in Dolce & Gabbana to celebrate the launch. I'm lusting over the understated luxury of these shots. Right now, everything Italian is the trend to watch and what better way to start than with a little D&G from Mr. Porter.

Andres Velencoso for McNeal

Wouldn't you know it! Destiny brought me to these new images of my favorite Model Lust Andres Velencoso. Okay, maybe not destiny [I'm only dreaming here] but, now you can lust along with me. Andres is shown here photographed by Marcell Hartmann for the McNeal lookbook on location in Oahu, Hawaii. The Lust List is green with envy for whoever got to lei my Andres [pun intended]. Aloha!

Video Lust : Beyoncé's 'Run the World [Girls]'

The first time I watched Lust Icon Beyoncé's video for "Run the World [Girls]" all I could see were the lustable Gareth Puth gold geometric heels [pictured above]. But, after a second glance I couldn't help but notice all of the incredible designer label fashion.

How do you run the world in style? Start the video atop a black stallion [we're talking about a horse here] in an all white Todd Lynn ensemble. Stand at attention with an Alexander McQueen clad army of girls [with a lion of course]. Followed by striking a pose in a Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown. Perform some serious trendsetting dance moves in Norma Kamali fringe shorts and a gold Giuseppe Zanotti harness [the fringed heels are Alexander Wang, and is that shrug Gucci?]. Take some oversized hyena's by the chain in Givenchy couture. March in the dirt in a Gareth Puth starlight gown and gold geometric heels adorned in Lariucci claw rings and earrings. Crawl around in the dust in a Norma Kamali cutout Aztec jumpsuit. And finally, face a SWAT team in two different Emilio Pucci gowns, one made of both silk and sequins [pair the yellow dress with black knee high Sergio Rossi gladiator boots]. Phew! I don't know about you, but I'm sweating with designer lust. And I'm sure I missed a few.

Lust with your eyes below.

Jon Kortajarena for Tom Ford AW11

Model Lust Jon Kortajarena has once again teamed up with Tom Ford for the AW11 campaign. Kortajarena was photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott in zip up fur, exquisite silks, and velvet tuxedos. His first rendezvous with our Lust Icon Tom Ford was shortly after his acting debut in Ford's film debut, A Single Man and I am so happy to see him at it again. I love me some Kortajarena.

Lust Icon : Jane Birkin

In 1981, Hermès chief executive Jean-Louis Dumas was seated next to Jane Birkin on a flight out of Paris to London. Shortly after placing her straw bag in the overhead compartment, all of its contents fell to the ground. While scrambling to replace the contents, Birkin explained to Dumas that it had been difficult for her to find a leather weekend bag that she actually liked. Two years later, Dumas created the "Birkin bag". Based on an 1892 design and named after Birkin herself, the "Birkin bag" has become an icon for Hermès and the leather bag industry.

Hermès' "Birkin bag" is a handmade symbol of wealth with a price tag that can range anywhere from $9,000 to $150,000. The bags are hand-sewn, buffed, painted, and polished in France by expert artisans. An average bag is created in 48 hours and because of the individual craftsmanship, details of the bags may not all match. The bags are distributed to Hermès boutiques on unpredictable schedules and in limited quantities, creating scarcity and intended or unintended exclusivity. The company justifies the cost, compared to other bags, based on the meticulous craftsmanship and scarcity.

Warriors of Radness

I love summer. I lust for heat, the water, a golden tan, and shorts, shorts, shorts. I could probably do an entire blog dedicated to shorts. Including styles from a new favorite brand Warriors of Radness.

The brand is built on a 1980's vibe of California surf life [think Joyrich on a surfboard] and headed by Rick Klotz, who GQ described as "the gnarliest Best New Designer" back in February. GQ continues:

"Once upon a time there were a boatload of rad-as-hell brahhhs surfing the coast of Southern California. The trunks were neon, the hair Spicolian, and the attitudes were fresh to the max. It was called the '80s and Klotz was there taking notes the whole ride. In 2008, after about 20 years of running his own T-shirt-focused company, he collected all those thoughts and launched Warriors of Radness, an irreverent throwback surf line full of in-your-face graphic tees, pull-overs in a kaleidoscopic palette, and tribal printed trunks. The volume on every item is turned way up. Similarly, Klotz's life is anything but subdued."

Beyond fashion, Klotz has also helped start the Gay and Lesbian Surf Association. "My buddies and I noticed that the surf community was really narrow-minded when it came to issues like sexuality. So, as a joke, we used to go out in the water holding hands to make other surfers uptight. We started the Gay and Lesbian Surf Association to address the issue. We've had fun with it, making stickers and shirts. It's become a serious thing though too. Gay and straight friends have been really great about supporting it. Our motto: 'Come on out... the water's fine!' "

His 10 Essentials for the magazine's website were hilarious and included Trojan latex condoms, vintage work boots, surfboards, and of course Warriors of Radness product. You can lust after some of my favorite product from the brand below. Or visit the website and get all kinds of wet with Warriors of Radness

10 Men with Tom Ford

I wanted to share this interview with the always lustable Tom Ford featured in the new 10 Men magazine. Turns out he finds himself extremely unpretentious, craves blood, and is very limber. And no, the Lust List is not his stalker.

FIRST JOB IN FASHION?
"A summer internship in the press department at Chloe in 1984."
WHAT'S NEW?
"Certainly not that question."
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
"Well, every morning I have a good deal of caffeine. That usually gets me started. That and a wake-up lick from the dogs usually gets me going."
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO THE TOP OF THE TREE?
"Work, work and more work. Staying there is harder. The branches are thinner and more delicate near the top."
FASHION IS...
"Something that can make one dream and elevate our experiences to a new level, but basically it is just clothes."
DO YOU EVER WEAR YOUR OWN DESIGNS?
"I only wear my own designs."
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
"My life. I keep my eyes open and try to appreciate everything around me. I think that one can find beauty in everything if one is open to readjusting their perceptions and preconceptions."
HOW IMPORTANT ARE HEMLINES?
"Not. What year is this?"
CAN YOU MULTITASK?
"If you mean can I talk on a cellphone while having a meeting and sketching, then no. I am a terrible mirco multitasker but I am a great macro multitasker. I am always working on 20 things at once and I love that, but when I sit down to sketch, I only sketch. I can't talk while I am doing it. I can't be disturbed, and I become so focused that everything else disappears. I don't even allow my staff to call me on my cellphone as I become distracted thinking that they are doing something else while I am talking to them."
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE AS YOUR EPITAPH?
"I don't want an epitaph, or a funeral, or a grave. I would simply like to not be here one day. Disappear. Gone..."
ARE YOU ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST COLLECTION?
"No. I think that if you are good you are good."
ARE YOU/WERE YOU A JUVENILE DELINQUENT?
"I don't know. Does having a lot of sex at 14, getting your girlfriend pregnant twice, being drunk or high most of the time in and out school count? Somehow, though, I managed to get perfect grades, charm my teachers and my hair rivaled Farrah's for shininess."
ARE YOU A SMOKY SOMETHIN'?
"Well, I don't smoke anymore, but I suppose I have a penchant for smoky eyes on most girls..."
DO YOU GET JEALOUS OF OTHER DESIGNERS?
"Never. It is such a difficult business. I admire anyone who can make it and stay there."
DO YOU GET RECOGNISED IN THE STREET? DO YOU HAVE/HAVE YOU EVER HAD A STALKER?
"Yes and yes."
HAVE YOU EVER THROWN A DIVA STROP?
"Only with Richard."
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE WAY MOST PEOPLE DRESS?
"Most people don't dress. I'm not really sure what one should call it..."
WAS THERE A PARTICULAR POINT WHEN YOU STARTED TO GET AMBITIOUS?
"I was always ambitious. It's funny, in Europe that is considered a crass thing, but in America, where I grew up, it is a virtue."
HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN ALL ABOUT FASHION?
"I am not now, nor have I ever been, 'all' about fashion."
ARE YOU A LEGEND? LEGENDARY?"Who knows? I don't really think about things like that. I would certainly not be caught dead in a Blackgama mink coat, though..."
DALLAS OR DYNASTY? SUE ELLEN OR ALEXIS?
"Blake."
HAVE YOU EVER LIED IN AN INTERVIEW?"Isn't that what they are for?"
DO YOU HAVE A MENTOR? A MUSE? WHO/WHAT ARE THEY?
"Carine Roitfield, just like the entire fashion industry..."
ARE YOU A BELIEVER IN HEALTHY COMPETITION?
"Absolutely."
WHAT DID YOU HAVE FOR DINNER LAST NIGHT?"Salmon, steamed spinach, sorbet."
HOW MANY LICKS DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO THE CENTRE OF IT?
"That depends on what you are licking."
CAN YOU WRAP YOUR LEGS AROUND YOUR NECK LIKE JANICE DICKINSON?"Actually, yes."
IF YOU COULD BE A SUPERHERO, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BE AND WHY?
"Is there a superhero that is a vampire? I have always wanted to be a vampire. Actually, I am a bit of a vampire..."
WHAT IS GOOD DESIGN?
"Good design can be different things, depending on what one is designing. I think that good design is when one solves the problem at hand in a thoughtful and functional way."
DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST DRESS? SHOW?
"I have never worn a dress..."
WHAT'S VULGAR?
"People who have no regard for others."
HAVE YOU EVER BANNED ANYONE FROM YOUR SHOW BECAUSE OF A BAD REVIEW? WOULD YOU?
"No and that depends."
HOW PRETENTIOUS ARE YOU ON A SCALE OF 1-10?
"You will not believe me but I think I am one of the least pretentious people that I know. I would say a three."

Pure Lust : Shia LeBouf

The Lust List has lusted for Shia LeBouf ever since Transformers, and Disturbia, and Eagle Eye, and Indiana Jones, and the list goes on. LeBouf dominates the cover of August's Details magazine and his spread gives us more to lust over than looks. His style is the icing on the cake. Like the amazing DSquared distressed corduroy's [pictured above].

Everyone is already buzzing about the article, in which LeBouf fueled by Dos Equis confesses to hooking up with then co-star Megan Fox. Details labels LeBouf as the "last of the great Bad Boys" and he makes no apologies for his kiss and tell claiming Fox was on "a break" from then boyfriend Brian Austin Green.

The story seems to have more twists and turns than a daytime soap, but who's even paying attention with all that Varvatos, Diesel, Dior Homme and What Goes Around Comes Around? The Lust List is ready to jump on the back of the Harley and fall for this bad boy.

Pure Lust : Garrett Hedlund

What actor lands their first role in a film opposite Brad Pitt? Pure Lust Garrett Hedlund.

Let's start from the beginning. Garrett Hedlund is a down home farm boy [which I'll admit, adds a little to his sexiness] from Minnesota. His family moved to Arizona where he began taking acting classes, but immediately after high school he did what everyone with a dream does, took the next bus to Hollywood.

After only a month, Hedlund landed his role as Brad Pitt's cousin in Troy and his career took off. Friday Night Lights, Georgia Rule, Five Brothers, Tron, and more; including an amazing performance in the recent Country Strong.

Hedlund has minor modeling experience for L.L. Bean and Teen Magazine, but has yet to be the face of any major fashion campaign. A huge fan of punk music, Hedlund has spent time photographing the bands and fashion of the scene. This must have been the inspiration behind his spread in January's W Magazine. From the looks of things, he's ready to take on the fashion world too. Someone get Marc Jacobs on the phone!

"I've been told I'm too good looking for certain roles, but that's okay, it just motivates me to go deeper."
